Changsha IFS hosted a Dior lipstick pop-up built around immersive beauty experience and party-style interiors.

Changsha IFS is a shopping mall in the city’s central retail district, with multiple levels of retail, dining and public circulation. The project occupies a temporary commercial space within the mall, normally part of the centre’s retail and foot-traffic system. Its indoor setting and steady mall circulation make it suited to short-run brand installations that need visibility from surrounding shopping areas.
Inside the temporary space, the pop-up was organised around a red-and-black entrance installation, a neon-lit passage and mirrored mosaic walls. A full-shade display area allowed testing, while a lip-print wall and several photo points sat along the visitor route. Stamp collection led toward an exit counter for gift redemption, with makeup stations and a drinks point supporting the visit.
Changsha IFS suits this activation because the mall supplies indoor foot traffic and a central retail audience already moving between shops. A temporary beauty pop-up can intercept that circulation, use compact zones for testing and photo moments, and convert passing shoppers through short, game-like interactions without a standalone venue.
