BELLAVITA, the luxury mall in Taipei's Xinyi district, hosted a temporary boutique for the Lady Dior bag line in early 2021.

BELLAVITA is a luxury shopping mall in Taipei's Xinyi commercial district, built around a European-style interior of stone floors, arcades and a skylit central hall. Its lower and ground levels hold boutiques, cafés and open event areas that rotate between brand installations, and the building sits among the department stores and office towers that form the district's retail core.
The run took over one of the mall's open event areas and rebuilt it as an enclosed boutique: display cases and shelving for the bag line, a reception point at the threshold, and a route that carried visitors through the installation rather than past it. Lighting and finishes were adjusted to separate the temporary space from the surrounding shops.
Malls of this type already draw the clientele a handbag line addresses, and their interior halls carry the finishes, security and servicing that a maison's temporary boutique requires. The venue also supplies foot traffic from adjoining boutiques, so a short-run space can trade on passing visitors rather than on destination marketing alone.
