Qiantan Taikoo Li hosted Chanel's Starry Night Voyage pop-up, a holiday fragrance and gifting installation built around five house symbols.

Qiantan Taikoo Li is an open-air shopping mall in Pudong, Shanghai, laid out as low-rise retail blocks, walkways and public plazas rather than a single enclosed atrium. Its lanes connect shops, restaurants and landscaped open spaces, and the complex serves as a daily retail and leisure destination for the surrounding Qiantan district. The venue mixes outdoor circulation with indoor retail units and event-capable common areas.
For the Shanghai edition, the venue's indoor area was converted into a star-themed route. An art dome carrying Chanel's lion, comet, camellia, wheat and pearl symbols framed the entrance; beyond it, a star telescope, perfume display zones, a holiday gift-wrapping area and spaces for scent consultations, layering sessions, a star-ring workshop and one-to-one beauty services were arranged.
The mall's open-air lanes and indoor units allow a pop-up to combine a public, discoverable frontage with controlled rooms for consultations and workshops. Its mix of retail, dining and leisure traffic suits a holiday gifting project that depends on browsing, short dwell times and movement across several zones.
