MixC World's open-air plaza and High Street hosted CHANEL's Coco Flash Radio pop-up, a pink radio-station set for its beauty line.

MixC World is an open-air retail district in Shenzhen, laid out as pedestrian streets and plazas rather than one enclosed mall. Time Square is its central outdoor plaza; High Street is the shopping street that meets it at a T-junction. Both are uncovered public circulation space, with storefronts on either side and foot traffic passing through at ground level. The two areas connect, so one installation can run across both without a fence line.
For the project, a pink radio-station structure was built across Time Square and the High Street T-junction. Visitors collected a wristband and sparkling water at the entrance, then moved through a sound workshop with voice and audio interactions, a horoscope station reading lucky shades from tarot cards, and a makeup room with one-to-one artist service. A DJ booth, a magazine installation and an exit raffle filled out the route.
Open-air plazas and street junctions in Shenzhen's retail districts carry steady foot traffic and stay usable into the evening, which suits a free-entry, walk-through activation with no ticketed queue. The multiple approach points let a brand split the route into stages rather than compress everything into one storefront unit.
