Hong Kong Design Institute hosted Chanel's 2024/25 Cruise replica show, using an existing campus corridor as the runway.

Hong Kong Design Institute is a design education campus in Hong Kong. Its buildings contain teaching studios, workshops, exhibition areas and long internal corridors that connect departments and public zones. The campus is normally used for design education and student or institutional presentations, with interiors organised for movement between studios and shared facilities rather than for conventional fashion-show production.
For this project, the show used an existing corridor inside the institute as the runway. Models moved along the linear circulation route, with the corridor's walls and floor framing the presentation instead of a built set. The source record describes the runway as a simple corridor; seating layout, backstage areas and installation details are not verified.
A design school corridor provides a long, enclosed circulation route that can be converted into a runway with minimal construction. Its institutional character places a luxury fashion presentation inside an everyday education space, creating a visible contrast between the venue's normal use and the event.
