Galeries Lafayette Haussmann hosted a Chanel fragrance installation with a rotating, bottle-shaped entry.

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann is a department store in Paris, with multiple retail floors and dedicated beauty and fragrance areas. The venue is normally used for department-store retail, brand counters and seasonal displays. Its interior circulation moves shoppers between fashion, accessories and beauty departments. The Chanel project occupied a retail space inside the flagship, placing the installation within the store's existing customer route rather than in a separate exterior pavilion.
During the project, the installation formed a contained retail zone with an entrance outlined as a No.5 perfume bottle. Its curved square structure was set slightly off-axis, creating a visual turning effect that guided visitors inward. Inside, shoppers encountered Chanel beauty and fragrance displays in an intimate setting. The layout drew customers from the surrounding department-store floor into the installation, turning a normal retail aisle into a short, immersive brand sequence.
Department stores concentrate shoppers already moving through beauty and fashion floors, so a fragrance installation can intercept existing footfall. The flagship's interior retail layout supports a contained brand zone without requiring a separate building. The installation's bottle-shaped entry works as a wayfinding device within the store's circulation, drawing customers from surrounding counters into a defined Chanel space.
