Chengdu MixC hosted a CHANEL No.1 Garden pop-up in the Building A L1 atrium.

Chengdu MixC is a shopping mall in Chengdu. The project occupied the L1 atrium of Building A, a central indoor circulation space inside the mall. The atrium sits within the retail floors, connecting pedestrian routes and storefronts. As a mall common area, it is normally used for circulation, seating and temporary displays. It provides a covered, accessible setting for brand installations.
For CHANEL No.1 Garden, the L1 atrium was converted into a temporary garden-themed pop-up. The installation occupied the central floor area, with branded display zones and product presentation set within the mall's main pedestrian route. Visitors moved through the space between retail levels, encountering the pop-up as part of normal mall circulation. The setup used the open atrium footprint for a compact, walk-through brand environment.
Mall atriums suit short brand pop-ups because they sit on existing pedestrian routes and draw foot traffic without requiring a separate ticket or appointment. The open L1 floor allows a compact installation to be seen from surrounding retail levels, while the covered indoor setting keeps the activation accessible throughout the day.
