Cartier opened a boutique inside Wuhan Heartland 66, grouping women's, men's and bridal pieces with a VIP salon.

Wuhan Heartland 66 is a shopping mall in the city's central commercial district, laid out over multiple retail levels with a luxury and fashion tenancy. The Cartier boutique occupies a defined unit on the mall's retail floor, reached from the main circulation route rather than from the street, so passing footfall and mall-guided wayfinding determine how visitors arrive at the entrance.
Inside the unit, the floor is divided into a women's works area, a men's works area, a wedding works area and a VIP salon. These zones sit in sequence off the entrance, so visitors move from open display into progressively enclosed, seated areas; the salon is placed at the inner end of the plan, away from the mall corridor, and is used for private appointments.
Mall units of this kind suit jewellery and watch retail because the enclosed plan can hold several separate zones and a closed salon within one footprint, while the mall's existing luxury tenancy and controlled circulation deliver visitors already oriented to high-consideration, appointment-based shopping.
