Sun Ke Villa at Columbia Circle hosted Cartier’s 2022 new product preview, presenting the Rivières de Cartier fragrance series with jewellery, watches and leather goods.

Sun Ke Villa is a heritage villa within Columbia Circle, a mixed-use cultural and commercial compound in Shanghai. The villa provides residential-scale rooms and a garden setting rather than a conventional exhibition hall. It is used for cultural programmes, exhibitions and brand events, and its location within Columbia Circle places it within the compound’s public circulation.
The villa hosted Cartier’s 2022 new product preview. Displays presented the Rivières de Cartier fragrance series by in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, including the three scents inspired by water’s passage through plants and minerals. The rooms also showed historic Cartier perfume bottles, with examples linked to jewellery, lighters and powder compacts, alongside new jewellery, watches and leather goods.
A heritage villa suits an intimate fragrance preview: its smaller rooms let visitors examine bottles and scent materials at close range. Columbia Circle brings a design- and culture-oriented audience to the site, while the villa setting separates the presentation from mall or department-store retail environments.
