Shanghai IFC Mall's L1 atrium hosted a holiday installation of stacked Cartier red boxes and panther figures, with an adjoining photo room.

Shanghai IFC Mall occupies the podium levels beneath the IFC towers in Lujiazui, Pudong, on the east bank of the Huangpu River. Its L1 atrium is the mall's central circulation node: a tall open volume ringed by luxury boutiques, crossed by shoppers moving between the office towers, hotel and metro links, and routinely given over to seasonal decor and gifting displays.
The atrium held a cluster of oversized Cartier red boxes, stacked at differing heights and finished with gold ornament, with panther figures posed among them. A marked viewing point on the floor indicated a preferred camera angle. Behind the installation, a small enclosed photo room contained a touchscreen offering three backdrop templates, panther graphics and print output, limited to one print per visitor.
The L1 atrium already carries the mall's heaviest foot traffic and its gift-shopping season, so a display that can be circled, photographed and printed suits a space used for browsing rather than standing still. Luxury neighbours keep the audience aligned, and the open volume lets the installation read from upper levels.
