Baispace Brunner Mond Building hosted Cartier’s Sixième Sens high jewellery exhibition, presenting more than 400 jewellery and watch pieces across thematic chapters.

Baispace Brunner Mond Building is a renovated historic building in Shanghai, operated as part of the Baispace venue project. It sits near the Huangpu River and retains the structure and facade of the former Brunner Mond office building. Its rooms and halls are used for exhibitions, presentations and cultural events.
For the exhibition, the venue was divided into three thematic chapters—sensory immersion, instinctive intuition and imagery release—with additional sections for the Cartier archive and fine watchmaking. Guests moved through these zones in sequence, while an evening dinner on 15 October brought invited guests to the riverside building. The historic rooms held display cases and jewellery presentations rather than conventional retail fixtures.
The building’s renovated historic interiors suit a high jewellery exhibition because they provide a sequence of distinct rooms for controlled display and guided circulation. Its central Shanghai location and riverside setting also support evening receptions and private viewings for invited guests, which match the format of a maison jewellery presentation.
