Bvlgari took over teamLab Borderless Shanghai for an after-hours VIC Christmas dinner, with further dinners staged in Nanjing and a terrace suite at The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing.

teamLab Borderless Shanghai is a ticketed immersive digital art museum, laid out as a sequence of dark rooms in which projected works drift between spaces rather than sitting on fixed walls. Visitors normally move without a set route, following light and sound from one room into the next. Floors, walls and mirrored surfaces carry the projections, and the absence of daylight is what holds the whole interior together.
For the dinner the museum was given over to seated tables rather than walk-in visitors. Guests toured the rooms before eating, with table settings placed inside the galleries: glassware, plates and floral arrangements laid directly under the projections. In Nanjing and Beijing the same star-lit theme was adapted to a suite and a terrace instead of museum rooms.
Spaces that are already dark, quiet and image-driven let a dinner borrow atmosphere instead of building it from scratch. A museum that empties after hours hands a brand complete control of sound, lighting and circulation, while the existing visuals hold attention across a long seated meal without added staging.
