Shanghai New World Daimaru hosted a Christmas-themed BVLGARI Serpenti pop-up within its department-store retail floors.

Shanghai New World Daimaru is a department store in central Shanghai, organised around retail floors and internal circulation rather than a single open hall. Its retail areas place temporary brand installations directly inside the shopping route, among counters and displays. The department-store format means visitors encounter activations as part of ordinary store movement, not as separate exhibition visits.
For this project, the Shanghai venue hosted a Christmas-themed BVLGARI Serpenti pop-up from December 2021 to January 2022. The installation was set within the department store's retail environment, where shoppers pass through rather than enter a closed gallery. The record does not specify the internal layout, fixtures or circulation plan beyond the pop-up's presence in the store.
Department stores suit short brand pop-ups because they already concentrate shopping traffic and provide a ready retail backdrop. A pop-up can sit inside existing circulation without requiring a separate entrance or ticketing. For jewellery and accessories, this format allows close viewing within a familiar browsing environment.
