Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai hosted a one-day press conference and watch exhibition presenting the brand's 2019 collection.

Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai occupies part of the Suhe Creek redevelopment on the city's Suzhou Creek waterfront, in Jing'an district, combining a new tower with a restored historic chamber-of-commerce building. Its interiors are dark, polished and theatrically lit, with function rooms, a ballroom and riverside terraces that are normally used for corporate meetings, private dining and brand receptions rather than public exhibitions.
For the one-day press conference, the hotel's function space was split into two parts: a presentation area where the 2019 collection and special-edition watches were introduced, and an adjacent exhibition room where the series were laid out in display cases. Watchmakers demonstrated their craft on site, and guests moved between the two zones during the programme.
A hotel owned by the brand gives a watchmaker an interior already tuned to its materials, lighting and service standards, so an exhibition can extend into corridors and lounges without a separate build. Central Shanghai hotels of this kind routinely host press previews, since guests arrive for a short, controlled programme.
