Bvlgari Hotel Beijing hosted Jiujiu Guiyi, a four-day immersive art and design exhibition, across its public interiors in September 2018.

Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is a riverside hotel in Chaoyang District, set beside the Liangma River and adjoining the Genesis Beijing complex. Its public programme runs through a lobby lounge, restaurant, bar and function areas rather than a dedicated gallery, so exhibitions there occupy hospitality rooms and corridors that are normally given to arrivals, dining and private events.
For four days in late September 2018 the hotel held Jiujiu Guiyi, an immersive art and design exhibition staged as a collaboration between the hotel, a crafts collective and an art platform. Design objects and installations were placed within the hotel's public interiors for the run of the show. A room-by-room layout, individual zones and visitor circulation are not verified in the record.
Hotels of this kind hold guests and visitors in the same rooms for hours, so an exhibition in the public areas reaches an audience already at leisure rather than one that has travelled to a gallery. The domestic scale of lobbies and lounges suits objects meant to be encountered at close range.
