Xingfuli in Shanghai hosted Burberry Rose, a temporary boutique and café pairing the brand’s seasonal designs with a North London café concept.

Xingfuli is a street-level commercial lane in Shanghai, made up of individual retail and café units opening onto shared outdoor circulation. The venue is experienced as a walk-through block rather than an enclosed mall, with frontages that can be dressed for temporary uses. It sits within the city retail fabric and normally supports eating, shopping and small-format brand residencies.
For Burberry Rose, Xingfuli hosted a temporary boutique, a Norman’s café and a sequence of immersive displays along the lane. The venue’s frontages and shared circulation were used to separate retail, hospitality and installation zones while keeping them connected as one route. Visitors moved between the boutique, café and brand displays within the street-level setting.
The venue suits this activation because its individual units and outdoor circulation allow retail, café and display areas to sit within one walkable route. A street-level lane supports discovery-led formats, where visitors encounter brand elements while moving through the site rather than entering a single closed room.
