Burberry opened a new boutique on K Avenue at Wuhan SKP, using the store and a rooftop garden display area for its launch.

Wuhan SKP is a high-end retail complex in Wuhan, and K Avenue is its street-facing block of standalone fashion buildings within the mall area. The setting is normally used for luxury shopping, with shopfronts, exterior facades and pedestrian routes connecting the street to the wider mall. The Burberry unit occupies a standalone building with a limestone facade and an interior staircase.
For the opening, the boutique operated as the main retail space while a rooftop garden creative display area was added for the event. Guests moved through the ground-floor rooms and staircase, and the rooftop zone hosted the presentation and celebrity appearances. The Summer 2025 collection was shown inside, and the exterior facade carried the equestrian knight emblem.
K Avenue suits this kind of launch because it gives luxury brands a standalone building and street-facing facade inside a high-traffic mall complex. The format allows a shop opening to work as both a retail space and an event venue, with exterior branding, interior display zones and a separate rooftop area for guests.
