Taipei 101's fourth-floor plaza hosted a month-long Burberry pop-up built around animal motifs and limited products.

Taipei 101 is a mixed-use tower and retail complex in Taipei's Xinyi district. The pop-up occupied its fourth-floor plaza, an indoor public circulation area within the mall rather than a closed store unit. The space sits among shops and connects foot traffic moving through the level, giving passersby direct views into the installation. Its open plan allows temporary structures and sculptures to be arranged without enclosing the surrounding retail frontage.
For the project, the plaza was fitted with a pale blue and pink setting and a group of animal sculptures, including monkeys, an orangutan, swans, giraffes and birds of paradise, placed across the open area. Display fixtures presented the Animal Kingdom series and limited-edition bags. Snapcodes linked the physical installation to a Snapchat augmented-reality filter. The open arrangement let visitors move among sculptures and product displays without a fixed route.
The fourth-floor plaza sits within shopping circulation, so a fashion pop-up can catch existing mall visitors rather than depend on a dedicated exhibition audience. Its open footprint supports scattered sculptures and product displays, while the surrounding retail context makes a temporary brand space feel like part of the mall's regular route.
