The ground-floor window at SKP-S in Beijing hosted a Burberry exclusive summer display referencing the brand's adventure tradition and check pattern.

SKP-S is a shopping mall in Beijing with multiple retail levels and installation areas. Its ground floor carries arrival routes and main circulation, placing window displays close to where visitors enter and move through the building. The retail floors are organized as a sequence of environments rather than a single open hall, and the ground-floor frontage forms the boundary between the mall interior and the public approach.
For this project, the ground-floor window at SKP-S was given over to a Burberry exclusive display. The window presented a summer scene referencing the brand's adventure tradition and signature check, arranged as a framed composition viewed from the mall's circulation. The installation occupied the window frontage rather than the sales floor, so the retail interior remained separate from the display.
Window-led projects suit SKP-S because the mall's ground floor works as a display threshold: shoppers pass the frontage before entering the retail levels. A single branded window can operate as a contained visual pause within the circulation, and the mall's fashion audience gives the installation a context without requiring a sales-floor build.
