Shenzhen Bay MixC hosted Burberry’s outerwear pop-up, built around a replica heritage clock and an English-town setting.

Shenzhen Bay MixC is a shopping mall in the Shenzhen Bay area of Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It is a multi-phase retail complex with indoor concourses, fashion and lifestyle tenants, and common areas used for brand installations. The venue sits within a commercial district of offices, residences and retail, and is normally used for shopping, dining and mall events.
For this project, the mall space was configured as a temporary Burberry outerwear environment. A large replica of the brand’s 1930s Haymarket clock anchored the layout. Around it, a check-patterned food cart served coffee, tea and cakes; a blessing wall with a tangerine tree invited New Year messages; and rails displayed trench coats, the 2026 Lunar New Year collection and scarves.
Mall concourses suit temporary brand environments because they already carry steady foot traffic and allow passers-by to enter without a ticketing step. At Shenzhen Bay MixC, the pop-up sat alongside the opening of the brand’s Phase II store, turning a retail visit into a broader brand encounter.
