Old Billingsgate Market, a former riverside fish market in the City of London, hosted Burberry's Autumn/Winter 2026 runway show.

Old Billingsgate Market is a former wholesale fish market on the north bank of the Thames in the City of London, a short walk from London Bridge. The building's wide open floor, long river-facing elevation and tall structural roof have made it a standing venue for large dinners, parties and presentations. Outside show dates it holds corporate events rather than retail or public programming.
For the show the hall was turned into a night-time city scene: an abstract London skyline wrapped in scaffolding was built as the main visual, layered in multiple planes to break a single perspective. Low lighting and black velvet seating set an after-dark register, with the runway routed through the set so the audience read garments against the industrial backdrop.
The hall's scale, unobstructed floor and riverfront City address allow a full architectural set to be installed and removed around a single evening event, and its industrial shell supports a construction-themed build without competing with it.
